Kelsie joined the law firm in November 2019. Kelsie grew up in Rochester and attended both undergraduate and law school at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul and Minneapolis. Kelsie has three undergraduate degrees: business management and leadership, business law, and business communications. Before heading to law school, Kelsie worked for ten years in the service industry tending bar, waiting tables, and filling drink orders. Even before attending law school in the big city, Kelsie knew she wanted to practice law in rural Minnesota. During law school, Kelsie was actively involved in an new outstate practice group at St. Thomas law school which focused on encouraging todays new lawyers to venture into greater Minnesota. All of her small-town dreams came true when she met her soon-to-be husband, Michael, who grew up in Olivia, Minnesota. Upon graduation, Kelsie and Michael moved back to Olivia so Michael could pursue his dream of farming. Meanwhile, Kelsie clerked for Chief-District Judge Dwayne Knutsen in Yellow Medicine County, and Judge Thomas Van Hon in Chippewa County for one year. For as long as Kelsie could remember, she always wanted to be a contestant on the Amazing Race. However, since that dream never panned out, she opted to hike the entire 2,912 miles of the Appalachian Trail instead between her time clerking and starting at Anderson Larson. It took Kelsie 6 months and one day to complete the trail, but she did it. When Kelsie is not working at Anderson Larson and providing quality and professional work for clients, she is walking her two dogs, drinking a highly caffeinated latte, or raving about the newest true crime podcast.
